Everything else about Jamiroquai
Suitable for Halloween in this article we would like to present the dark side of Paul Turner. You read it right! Because in addition to his work as a bassist with Jamiroquai, Paul plays recently also in the rather heavy metal band “The Dark Sinatras” and his bassline reminiscent of anything but Jamiroquai.
Says on the homepage of the Dark Sinatras it:
“The unique sound of Dark Sinatras, sometimes sinister and diabolical, sometimes tinged with ethnic theater, was originally in the cold, unrelenting climate of Russia's punk rock clubs and bars forged, where songwriters, Guitarist and singer “Mark White” for about 17 Years played. Mark traf dann 2006 “Eduard Laubinger”, one Kazakh Gypsies drummer, during a free-jazz recording session in the Mosfilm Studios in Moscow and their first collaboration; God knows, was born.”
Here you can see in the current album “Sick Society” listen. Have fun!

Actually, these are not actual news but we would like to refer to this special CD.
The band Samuel Purdey was a British jazz-rock group, from the two main band members Barney Hurley (Drums and Percussion) and the first Jamiroquai guitarist Gavin Dodds (Vocals and guitar) File.
In January 2009 The band released at Grey Dog’s Records in Japan, a remastered version of her album “Musically Adrift“, the first time 1999 at Quattro/Good Sounds appeared. The pieces “Whatever I Do” and “Lucky Radio” have been 1996 released as a single and made it to the top of the Japanese radio charts. The remastered version contains the bonus track “Help Me See“.
The album is especially remarkable because it distinguishes itself highly regarded by many musicians, who have contributed to its emergence. So were next Andrew Levy (Brand New Heavies), Robbie Gordon (Gil Scott-Heron) and Ben & Scott Addison (Corduroy) Jamiroquai also the former band member Stuart Zender (Bass) involved.
Jay Kay said: “Lucky radio was the best single of the year 1997.”http://www.youtube.com/view_play_list?p=B7B18DA018584DB6
